Wire Frame
These pieces are my experiments with using free 3D drawing software. Some pieces I consider as finished and others are still in-progress. Initially I approached the drawings with a photographic sensibility - constructing a form in virtual space, virtually walking around it, and selecting a point to photograph from. The subjects are the Royal Pier Hotel, The Cairo (another hotel that burnt), and The Sandringham. Several of these are printed as digital c-types, and increasingly I am thinking through how they can integrate with different media, and move beyond the environment from which they were made.
